| Glacier Point; Yosemite National Park |
The second week of our honeymoon we traveled a few hours east and spent some time at Yosemite National Park. It was so beautiful and fun to see sights in person that have been photographed so much!

We rented a whole house about 20 minutes from Yosemite gate. Besides the fact that this house creaked from top to bottom every night, it had so many wonderful things we enjoyed using!

| We did almost all our cooking at the places we stayed, something I would highly recommend for honeymooners. It saved on honeymoon cost, and wasn't bad since we bought things that didn't need much prep. Also it helped me get ready for the task of cooking full meals everyday once we arrived home. |
Before we explored Yosemite National Park, we visited a forest and saw the giant sequoia trees. Between their height and circumference they are the largest tree.

Yosemite National Park; this year it was beautiful there! With all the rain and snow from the past winter the streams and falls were full and overflowing. It was amazing to see how fast they flowed as well, some parts were flowing faster then a car driving down the interstate!

| We hiked the mist trail and made it up to the top of this falls and then continued to the bottom of another fall. Here we hiked up over 640 natural stone steps, made it through the mist tornado the falls creates, and finally arrived at the top. |

| Glacier Point was a highlight of our trip to Yosemite. It was so pretty and was fun to look down in the valley and see where all we had been the days before. |
After days roaming around in nature we decided it was time to relax and enjoy the place we rented. Plus the temperatures had risen to the upper 90s so we thought time in the pool was in order, memories to be made in the game room, and relaxing our sore bodies in the hot tub.
Driving out to California and back we drove through the Mojave Desert, this actually wasn't the hottest we saw it out there. 123 degrees was tops and could you feel it when outside!! It felt like you stepped straight into an oven!
Our last stop on the way back to Oklahoma was the Grand Canyon. It was something to see and mind boggling that distance and depth were almost extinct. Something you thought was just right over there was miles away! We were also reminded that life is a treasure so many people disregard. How thankful we are to have hope and a heavenly father to lean on when life gets hard!
