Friday, March 28th we poured the back porch
and the cement for the barn. Our cement “crew” was back again; Steve and Jeremy
Shetler, along with John and Luke Nolt. Since it was a cool day Andrew and I
were up pretty late waiting on the cement to set up. A memory from that night
will always stick with me…Andrew lying on his bedroom floor waiting to power
trowel the porch again, was eating carrots and playing all the ring tones on
his cell phone. If only I had a recorder that night, from downstairs it sounded
like a rabbit crunching away on his meal with some background music playing
:) It was the first time Andrew worked
on getting concrete to set up on his own and it turned out so nice!
