We were
surprised to be able to get the footers in on Tuesday. Exactly one week after
we put them off because of the weather! John and Luke Nolt came to help us
again; they have been such a great help getting our home off paper and on the
ground!! I’m not sure how we’ll ever be able to thank them! Thankfully they’re
our neighbors so helpfully we’ll be able to greatly repay them in the future. Now
we’re focusing on the foundation but there is yet another chance of snow in
about a week, it’s almost laughable; we decide to build and we get a wet
winter. We’re hoping it won’t amount to much but we do have to watch tempetures
this time. Now with the footers in we have a very good picture of the size of
the house, it looks doable but well be more like a cabin till we do the
addition. We are really (impatientlyJ) ready to see it framed up and even
more than (impatientlyJ) ready to move into. I think of the following often…”How
poor are they that have no patience” Shakespeare.

| Four tires in the air...a little later John moved it even more in the valley, so the backhoe was higher off the ground. |

| Caleb Nolt was such a good little helper! |
